Your calendar data stays with you

The data you enter (e.g. events and tasks) is processed exclusively for the app’s functions. This data is not shared with miwiapps or any third party.

Excepted are actions you initiate yourself, such as event invitations or responding to meeting requests. Support requests that you actively send by email can be fully reviewed by you beforehand.

Permissions

Calendar & contacts: Access to calendar data and reading contact information to display contact events (birthdays, name days) and to send event invitations to email addresses from your contacts.

Storage: Saving and retrieving category settings, importing/exporting events as CSV, and importing your own graphics as event icons.

Network: For licence verification by the Google Play Store.

Internet access

Internet access is used exclusively for:

Weather information (if enabled in settings): only text information is transmitted, cached for about 2 hours; the data volume is very small.
Advertising (free version only): The free version displays ad banners. The advertising service used may process device and usage data for this purpose; details depend on the respective ad provider. The paid version contains no advertising.

Legal basis & your rights

Processing to provide the app’s functions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: info@miwiapps.de.

The German version of this privacy policy is legally binding.
